James J. Dixon

As an attorney at Dixon Rodgers Kee & Pearson, P.S., James J. Dixon limits his practice to criminal defense in Olympia and surrounding communities in Thurston, Mason, Pierce, Lewis and Grays Harbor counties in Washington.

James J. Dixon received his Bachelors degrees in Philosophy (with Honors) and Urban Affairs from the University of Puget Sound in 1980. He received a Master of Public Administration degree from Rice University in 1983 and his law degree from UPS in 1990.

Mr. Dixon is a former President of the Thurston County Bar Association and serves on several committees and boards in the community. He is peer review rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Dixon is also a former F.B.I. Special Agent, a background which serves him well in his criminal defense practice at the firm. Most recently, Mr. Dixon was the recipient of the Thurston County Bar Association Daniel Bigelow Award, recognizing him as 2011 Lawyer of the Year.
