Richard
L. Ditlevson received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from
the University of Washington in 1968. He received his Juris Doctorate
from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1971. While in law
school, he participated in Law Review and was a teaching assistant.
Mr.
Ditlevson was employed in the Solicitor's Office of the Department
of Interior from 1972 to 1976 in Washington D.C. and in San Francisco,
California. Mr. Ditlevson commenced his private practice in 1977
and formed our firm with G. Saxon Rodgers in August 1978.
Mr.
Ditlevson is a member of the Thurston County Bar Association, Washington
State Bar Association, California State Bar Association and the
American Bar Association. He is a former member of the Thurston
County Bar Association's Board of Trustees. He is also a member
of the Business Law and Construction Law Sections of the Washington
State Bar Association.
Mr.
Ditlevson is licensed to practice in the Courts for the State of
Washington, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and
Western District of Washington, the United States District Court
for Northern California and the North Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr.
Ditlevson advises small businesses, general and specialty contractors,
construction suppliers, developers and professional service providers.
He focuses his practice in construction, real estate, business,
business organization and civil litigation.
