Steven M. (“Steve”) Sayre, associate attorney, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of California at San Diego in 1984. He received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Steve received a CALI Award for excellence in the study of Torts, and was also honored on the Dean’s list, for his academic achievement.

Steve was raised in Seattle, Washington, where his father and older brother currently maintain their own law practice. After completing college in California, Steve entered the construction industry, and worked his way through the ranks to become a master carpenter and cabinetmaker. In 2001, Steve began clerking for his family’s law firm in Seattle, which he continued through his law school years.

Steve is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Thurston County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the Federal Court for the Western District of Washington.

Steve joined our firm in the summer of 2005 as a new associate. Steve’s practice focuses on real property, construction, contracts, and torts. He has extensive experience in the residential construction industry.
